"He is a Fool"

Why Mama says that Booker T. Washington and George Murchison are fools is because in the book, A Raisin in the Sun, at page 103, Mrs.Johnson says that Booker.T Washington had said ," Education has spoiled many good plow hand" Mama thinks he is a fool, but Johnson doesn't. The speach that Booker. T Washington had said means that education makes people stuck up.And for George Murchison, he challenges the thought of other black people.Thats why Mama says ," I guess you better not waste your time with no fools" Also George forgets his African culture and submit the American culture more. He thinks being well educated means to have a good job and Beneatha thinks education is understanding and self-fulfilment. He is a fool because his famiy and he believes that becoming wealthy is more important his own blood and culture= Africa.

What Booker.T Washington and George Murchison have in common is that they are african-american and is what Beneatha use to discribe George=views, belief system, and their philosophies of life. They both think that education make people stuck up.
