The world would stop,

Scared if

Then I see it.

She comes up to you,

My heart beat stops.

She shows you

Her beautiful smile,

You show her yours,

She playing with her

Long brown, wavy hair,

Her nails,

Deep dark,

Purple,

Your favorite color.

She laughs,

You laugh,

And I stare.

I look at my nails,

No manicure,

No violet enamel,

Just plain ugly.

I look at my hair,

Short, straight,

Black, boring,

No waves or curls,

Just normal.

I feel bitter,

Envy,

Embarrassed.

I turn my body,

Trying to hide

Myself behind the people.

And I walk,
